Stem Cell Storage

Long-term cryopreservation of umbilical-cord, placental and other cell sources under defined collection, processing, testing and custody procedures.

Why store

Preserving a biological resource collected at birth.

Umbilical-cord and placental material can be collected at birth and cryopreserved under a defined banking programme. Storage preserves the material; it does not guarantee a future treatment, clinical suitability or approval for a particular use.

Stem Cell Storage
Cell sources

Cell sources handled within the banking programme.

The applicable collection method, ownership, accreditation scope, testing requirements and potential release conditions differ by cell source and contract.

UC

Umbilical cord MSCs

Mesenchymal stromal cells isolated from umbilical-cord tissue (Wharton's jelly), used in a range of laboratory and clinical-research programmes.

PL

Placental decidua MSCs

MSCs from the placental wall decidua. Because they derive from the maternal side, they share the mother's genotype — an exclusive cell resource for the mother.

CB

Cord blood HSCs

Hematopoietic (blood-forming) stem cells collected from umbilical-cord blood. Suitability and permitted use require clinical assessment.

PB

Peripheral blood immune

Immune-cell biobanking from adult peripheral blood for potential future autologous processing where permitted and clinically appropriate.

Umbilical-cord and placental MSCs are multipotent stromal cells defined by their immunomodulatory activity — distinct from, and complementary to, the blood-forming hematopoietic stem cells found in cord blood.

Quality assurance

Company-reported process-documentation figures.

680+ Standard documents reported per cell product
870+ Quality records reported per cell product
910+ Quality-control checkpoints reported
100% Independent testing reported for defined releases
How it works

From collection to long-term storage in five steps.

  1. 01

    Consultation

Discuss the storage programme with a Beike specialist and arrange the collection kit.

  2. 02

    Collection

Cells collected at delivery by trained clinical staff using the Beike collection kit.

  3. 03

    Transport

Validated, temperature-controlled transport to a Comprehensive Cell Bank within compliance windows.

  4. 04

    Processing & QC

Isolation, characterisation and 910+ quality-control checkpoints in our cleanroom suite.

  5. 05

    Long-term storage

Vapor-phase liquid nitrogen storage with redundant monitoring and chain-of-custody records.
