In August 2009, Beike Biotech obtained membership in the International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT), receiving a membership certificate from the Society and becoming a formal member of the organization.
Founded in 1992, ISCT is an international professional organization dedicated to cell research, processing, handling, and clinical transplantation. ISCT provides a global authoritative forum for education and training in the cellular medicine field, the implementation of scientific cooperation and research, the development and validation of standardized technologies, and communications between members and other professional organizations, regulatory agencies, and government departments. It has successfully held 14 annual meetings. To date, the Society has 54 corporate members, including renowned American biotech companies such as BD Biosciences and Advanced Cell and Gene Therapy.
