On October 14, 2011, news from the Ministry of Science and Technology indicates that our Technology R&D Center’s submitted project “High-Tech Industrialization of the Clinical Application of Mesenchymal Stem Cells” has been recognized under the National Torch Program, project number: 2011GH021787.
Torch Program projects are oriented to domestic and international market demand and are based on national, local, and industry research breakthrough programs, new technology R&D program achievements, and other scientific research outcomes, with the goal of developing high-tech products and forming industries. They are selected on a competitive basis and implemented as high-tech industrialization projects.
In recent years, our company’s independent innovation capabilities have improved significantly, and our ability to aggregate projects has been markedly enhanced. The successful recognition of this project under the National Torch Program will play a positive role in optimizing the company’s allocation of scientific and technological resources, enhancing the company’s technological innovation capabilities, accelerating the dissemination and translation of scientific and technological outcomes, and accelerating the industrialization of high-tech.
