On 18 October 2022, Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd. held an appointment ceremony and academic seminar for an external expert advisor. Dr. Hu Junyuan, Chairman of Beike Biotech, presented the external expert advisor certificate to Professor Wang Zhihua of the State Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Disease at Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. Through this signing, Professor Wang Zhihua officially became an external expert of Beike Biotech, injecting strong momentum into Beike Biotech's development.

Beike Biotech and Professor Wang Zhihua have successfully reached cooperation intentions; the two sides will collaborate on projects including the clinical application development of exosomes and the clinical research of stem cells in cardiac diseases and aging-related diseases, jointly committed to research that improves human health.

Professor Wang Zhihua

Professor Wang Zhihua is currently a Researcher and Doctoral Supervisor at the State Key Laboratory of Cardiovascular Disease, Fuwai Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, and a Researcher at Fuwai Hospital Shenzhen Hospital, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences. He is a recipient of the Excellent Young Scientists Fund of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. His main research areas are pathological cardiac hypertrophy and cardiac aging; he investigates the molecular mechanisms of pathological growth and aging in cardiomyocytes from such dimensions as epigenetics, gene transcription, protein translation and metabolic networks, and conducts drug development and translational research. He serves on the council of the China Young Scientists Association, as a member of the Specialized Committee on Circulatory Physiology of the Chinese Association of Physiological Sciences, as a member of the Cardiovascular Specialized Youth Committee of the Chinese Association of Pathophysiology, and as Associate Editor of Frontiers in Cardiovascular Medicine. He holds 5 granted national invention patents; has led research projects including general and Excellent Young Scientists projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, general projects of the Guangdong provincial fund, and the Outstanding Youth project of the Shenzhen Science and Technology Innovation Commission; and has published 40 research papers in specialist journals such as Nature Medicine, Circulation, Circulation Research, Hypertension and Frontiers in Cell and Developmental Biology. He has co-authored Epigenetics Methods, Fundamentals and Clinical Practice of Cardiovascular Physiology and the Chinese Encyclopedia of Medicine, and edited the special issue Epigenetic Regulations in Cardiovascular Diseases.
