On 28 September, Wang Yubo, Vice Party Secretary and Governor of Yunnan Province, held a working meeting in Kunming with Hu Junyuan, Chairman of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd.
Wang Yubo introduced the conditions of Yunnan Province and the achievements of building the "Three Positionings". He noted that industry is the foundation of a strong province, and that the biopharmaceutical industry is one of the key industries Yunnan is building. The province has specifically planned and is implementing a three-year action plan to accelerate the building of a 100-billion-yuan-class industry. He hoped that enterprises would focus on the biopharmaceutical and major-health industry chain, accelerate the landing and implementation of relevant cooperation projects, and grow stronger themselves while supporting industry development and benefiting the people. The two sides exchanged views on strengthening complementary strengths, deepening cooperation in cell therapy, wearable medical devices and health services, and jointly building industry bases and research institutions.
Wang Yubo and Hu Junyuan jointly witnessed the signing of the strategic cooperation framework agreement between the People's Government of Yunnan Province and Beike Biotech, as well as the cooperation agreements between the Yunnan Provincial Department of Science and Technology, Beike Biotech and the Qujing Municipal Government.
