On May 28, 2019, Beike Biotech and Shenzhen Third People's Hospital jointly held a strategic cooperation signing ceremony for cell therapy and clinical research. Liu Lei, President of Shenzhen Third People's Hospital, Hu Xiang, Chairman of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd., and other officials and guests attended the signing ceremony.
Under the agreement, the two parties will jointly conduct filings for a stem cell clinical research base and stem cell clinical research projects. After successful filings, clinical research on stem cells in the treatment of liver disease will be carried out at Shenzhen Third People's Hospital. The clinical research is expected to generate safety and efficacy data on stem cell therapy for acute and chronic liver diseases and to provide a standardized clinical protocol for stem cell therapy in this area.
