On June 27, 2022, the Shenzhen Association for Science and Technology issued a notice that, in accordance with the requirements of the Administrative and Funding Measures for the Establishment of Shenzhen Academician (Expert) Workstations (Shen Fu Gui [2021] No. 4), and following open application, qualification review, expert evaluation, on-site inspection, and public consultation, it has approved Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd. to establish a Shenzhen Academician (Expert) Workstation.

It is reported that Beike Biotech has brought in field-surgery expert and Academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering Wang Zhengguo as the partner Academician of the Academician (Expert) Workstation, focusing on research into stem cells in regenerative medicine and the treatment of related diseases.

Academician Wang Zhengguo is a principal founder of impact injury, wound ballistics, and traffic medicine research in China. Devoted for more than 40 years to basic and applied basic research on combat injuries, he has produced a series of internationally advanced and even leading major scientific outcomes in the basic research of impact injury, wound ballistics, and impact injury (traffic medicine), making outstanding contributions to the development of combat injury medicine in China and earning a high international reputation. As first author, he has published over 210 papers, has authored, edited, or co-authored more than 20 monographs, and has co-authored more than 10 others; he has received the National Science and Technology Progress Award (1 first prize, 1 second prize, 4 third prizes), 1 National Invention Third Prize, and the Military Science and Technology Progress Award (4 first prizes, 16 second prizes). The project he organized and led, "Basic Research on Early Systemic Injury and Tissue Repair in Severe Trauma", was designated by the Ministry of Science and Technology as a project under the second batch of National Key Basic Research Development Plan, making him the first chief scientist for a "973 Program" project from the military.

In the future, Beike Biotech will continue to focus on key scientific issues and frontier technologies in the fields of stem cells and regenerative medicine, working to deepen the integration of industry, academia, and research, and will collaborate with Academician Wang Zhengguo's expert team on multiple project areas, including research and development of empowered MSCs for personalized precision therapy, the development and application of clinically usable biomaterials carrying stem cells, application research of iPSCs in clinical indications, and the development of standardized stem cell therapy protocols for various clinical indications.
