On November 29, 2023, a delegation of 49 leaders from Heilongjiang Province and various Heilongjiang cities visited Beike Biotech for an inspection tour. Dr. Hu Junyuan, Chairman of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd., warmly received the Heilongjiang government delegation.

The delegation visited the Shenzhen Comprehensive Cell Bank, the fully automated cell intelligent manufacturing system, and the Beike Biotech Life Sciences Experience Center, among other locations. On site, the delegation observed the production environment of the first set of new fully automated cell intelligent manufacturing systems deployed by Beike Biotech, and saw how cells that can heal and save lives are produced in an unmanned workshop. Through "instructions" issued by the automated intelligent system, the production of cell products is carried out following SOPs automatically, and digitally constructed simulated production controls intuitively reflect the production progress and cell status of the unmanned workshop. At the Beike Biotech Life Sciences Experience Center, the delegation gained a deeper understanding of Beike Biotech's intelligent cell preparation technologies and research achievements.

At the subsequent symposium, Dr. Hu Junyuan, Chairman of Beike Biotech, briefed the delegation on Beike Biotech's "AI+" deployment in the biomedical field, focusing on how, against the backdrop of the rapid development of personalized precision medicine, an intelligent manufacturing system built around intelligence, automation, and digitalization — capable of high-efficiency production and rapid response — will become a focal point of competition for the future cell industry. The bioeconomy is a new growth engine of future industry and is identified as a strategic leading industry in Heilongjiang Province's "14th Five-Year Plan". As a sub-sector of the bioeconomy, the cell industry is an important area for Heilongjiang's industrial upgrading. As a leader in China's domestic cell sector, Beike Biotech hopes to inject new momentum into the high-quality development of Heilongjiang's biopharmaceutical and health industry on this fertile land, accelerating progress and using cell technology to benefit Heilongjiang and create favorable conditions for a better life for its people.

Harbin Beike Biotech approved to undertake a national industrialization project

Harbin Beike Health Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Beike Biotech, has been approved to undertake the construction task of Subject 2 — "Development and Promoted Application of Digital and Intelligent Production Lines for Biopharmaceuticals" — under Direction 1, "Integrated Application of Biotechnology and Information Engineering", of national "Biotechnology and Information Convergence Application Engineering" projects. The project focuses on the key links of cell preparation manufacturing, using cloud computing, the industrial Internet, big data, AI, and other information technologies to digitally and intelligently upgrade the entire production system. It builds a standardized, modular intelligent manufacturing platform that can shorten the construction cycle of conventional cell preparation factories by more than 25%, strengthen data acquisition and visualization management for key equipment, improve quality control and production efficiency by more than 30%, and achieve a domestic localization rate of more than 93.7% for production line equipment, hardware, and software.


Harbin Beike will use the fully enclosed digital and intelligent cell preparation production line independently developed by partner Saidong Intelligent Manufacturing to enable mass production of rFib reparative fibroblasts. In cell preparation manufacturing, this will demonstrate the "integrated application of biotechnology and information technology" and provide third-party cell preparation production services to relevant R&D enterprises and research institutions in society, driving a major upgrade of production-line technology and equipment in the biopharmaceutical cell and gene therapy (CGT) field to international leading levels.
