On 12 April 2023, the 2023 Shenzhen Quality-Driven City Promotion Conference and the 10th Anniversary Celebration of the Shenzhen Quality-Driven City Promotion Association were held at the Yinhu International Conference Center in Shenzhen. The conference held a grand ceremony to commend the outstanding entrepreneurs honored with the 9th "Shenzhen Quality-Driven City Gold Medal" and its nomination awards. Dr. Hu Junyuan, Chairman of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd., received the 9th "Shenzhen Quality-Driven City Gold Medal". Following deliberation at the meeting, Dr. Hu Junyuan was also added as Vice President of the third Council of the Shenzhen Quality-Driven City Promotion Association, and Beike Biotech became a Vice President member entity of the association.
As the highlight of each annual Quality-Driven City Promotion Conference, the Shenzhen Quality-Driven City Gold Medal award ceremony attracts widespread attention. Established in 2013, the award is positioned as the highest individual honor in the Shenzhen quality field, presented to the principal leaders of Shenzhen-based enterprises/organizations who have firmly established a quality-first mindset, consistently pursued innovation-driven development, taken active responsibility for fulfilling social obligations and made outstanding contributions to building "Shenzhen Quality" and advancing a "quality-driven city". The award aims to set a benchmark for the work of building a "quality-driven city" and inspire enterprises and entrepreneurs across the city to put high-quality development into practice, benchmark themselves against world-class management and build modern enterprises with strong core market competitiveness. The "Shenzhen Quality-Driven City Gold Medal" is awarded once a year, with no more than 10 recipients per round. Eight rounds have been successfully held, and 66 entrepreneurs have previously received this honor, including Wang Chuanfu, Chairman and President of BYD, and Li Zixue, Chairman of ZTE.

The "Code for the Construction and Management of Cell Preparation Centers", organized by the Shenzhen Municipal Market Supervision Administration in conjunction with the Shenzhen Development and Reform Commission and jointly drafted by the Shenzhen Institute of Standards and Technology and Beike Biotech, was officially released in June 2016; the "Code for the Construction and Management of Comprehensive Cell Banks" was officially released in September 2017; both have provided useful references for the formulation of national cell therapy industry standards. At the end of 2018, Beike Biotech received the Shenzhen "Standardization and Innovation in Sync Demonstration Enterprise" honor, and at the end of 2019 was further approved as a "Shenzhen Standardization Innovation Demonstration Base". At the end of 2020, Beike Biotech took the lead in formulating the Shenzhen "Technical and Management Code for the Transport of Human-Source Live Samples" and the "Technical and Management Code for the Transport of Human Cell Products", and on 17 March 2023 the "Technical Code for the Design of Cell Culture Cleanrooms" national standard, in which Beike Biotech participated, was officially released. The implementation of these codes will undoubtedly lead and accelerate the cell therapy industry's entry into a more legalized, standardized and professionalized era. Beike Biotech has also actively driven industry talent development, establishing under the guidance of the Shenzhen Human Resources and Social Security Bureau a professional technical qualification assessment system for Cell Preparation Engineers and Cell Quality Management Engineers, training and providing the industry with a large pool of talent. This has set a strong industry benchmark for China's stem cell sector and made Beike Biotech a leading-edge technology brand in the cell field.
Building a quality-driven nation is an important measure for advancing high-quality development and supporting China's economic transition from large to strong.
