On 20 March 2023, an 11-person delegation led by Zhang Qixiang, Vice Party Secretary and Mayor of Harbin, and Jiang Chuanhai, Standing Committee member of the Harbin Municipal Party Committee and Vice Mayor, visited Beike Biotech for inspection and exchange. Dr. Hu Junyuan, Chairman of Shenzhen Beike Biotechnology Co., Ltd., warmly received the Harbin municipal government delegation, and the two sides held in-depth discussions on landing a "Cell Industry Base Project" in Harbin and on advancing integrated industry-university-research development for the translation of cell industry achievements in Harbin.

The delegation toured the world's first (set of) fully automated cell intelligent-manufacturing service platform deployed by Beike Biotech and saw life-saving cell therapy products produced in unmanned workshops, where the "intelligent brain" issues commands, automatically executes SOPs and completes the production of cell products. Production control simulated through a digital twin provides an intuitive view of the production progress and cell status in the unmanned workshop.
Mayor Zhang Qixiang and his delegation observed on site the production scenes, intensive use of space and human resources, and the visible, transparent process of the fully automated cell intelligent-manufacturing system built by Beike Biotech. They expressed the hope that Beike Biotech would bring its frontier cell therapy technologies and intelligent production solutions to settle in Harbin and drive the development of Harbin's life and health industry. They noted that the bioeconomy is a strategic dominant industry in Heilongjiang Province's "14th Five-Year Plan", and the biopharmaceutical industry is one of its sub-fields. As an important area for industrial upgrading in Harbin, the city has multiple resource advantages – including raw materials, science and education, and medical resources – and a solid industrial foundation in biopharmaceuticals, all of which support the development of a citywide biopharmaceutical and health industry. As a "leader of the pack" in China's cell field, Beike Biotech is exactly the kind of "capable partner" Harbin urgently needs to develop its biopharmaceutical industry. The delegation expressed their hope that, on this fertile ground in Harbin, Beike Biotech will inject new momentum into the high-quality development of Harbin's biopharmaceutical and health industry, accelerate progress, use cell technology to benefit Heilongjiang and achieve both quality medical care for patients and the development of the industry.
