ISO/CASCO is responsible for organizing the global survey of ISO management system standard certifications, releasing a survey report each year. The National Technical Committee on Conformity Assessment of Standardization Administration of China (SAC/TC261) is the domestic counterpart of the ISO Committee on Conformity Assessment (ISO/CASCO). The SAC/TC261 Secretariat recently received notification from ISO/CASCO that the 2019 ISO Survey of management system certifications has been released. The survey results show the number of valid certificates as of 31 December 2019, including country-by-country statistics for 12 management system standards and the number of fields and sites covered. The survey is an annual exercise carried out by ISO, with data provided by certification bodies accredited by signatories of the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (IAF MLA). ISO has provided a dedicated explanatory note for this year's survey.

Background:
The ISO Survey of management system certifications is an annual survey of valid ISO management system standard certifications worldwide. Data is provided by certification bodies accredited by signatories of the IAF Multilateral Recognition Arrangement (IAF MLA).
Results:
The table below shows the total number of valid certificates and the total number of sites covered for each standard included in the survey. More detailed results for each standard are available on the ISO website. For each standard, the number of certificates and the number of sites are shown side by side, allowing for a more comprehensive view. A certificate is a document issued by a certification body confirming that a client conforms to the standard; a site is a permanent location at which an organization carries out work or provides services.
